Please read this book! It is a very strong revelation as to the state of our churches! We are in the last days and most of us are being deceived! God's word says that we must walk the Narrow Way! This book reveals how "WIDE" our path has become as 'Christians' in the 21st Century!

Warnings for eternity...don't take this lightly!

Such a needed book for our times. It is one of the best Christian books I've read in a long time, not because it made me "feel good" but because I believe the author makes a very strong case that we all need to examine ourselves to make sure we truly are in the faith. I believe all the chapters are based on scripture and, as such, reflect God's Word and warning to us not to make God into our image and not to think of the sinners prayer as a formula we pray to automatically have a ticket to heaven. Yes, we may pray and truly repent to receive eternal life, but if we're only going through the motions and not giving ourselves the best way we know how to follow the Lord, then we may be deceiving ourselves. As a culture most have forgotten that God is Holy and righteous and Jesus, the 2nd person of the trinity, calls us to repent and follow Him. True faith and repentance will produce good works which will be evident in the true believer over time. I'm giving kind of an overall synopsis of the message in this book. It's been a while since I read the book and I think I need to read it again. Eternity is forever and ever and to spend it apart from God in torment is the most horrific thing I can think of. Surely none of us wants to be the often "religious" but unsaved person that Jesus addresses in Matthew 7:22-23 "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them*, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

We truly are in the time of great deception and apostasy

This book confirmed everything I always sensed the Holy Spirit speaking to me as I read God's Holy Word. I would go to several churches and feel a check in my spirit as these pastors were preaching another gospel . I finally found a church after much searching that is preaching the uncompromising gospel of the Kingdom of God. We truly are in the time of great deception and apostasy. But there is hope because God will always have a remenant of prophetic voices declaring who He truly is and His ways! Thank you Steve Gallagher and Pure Life Ministries peaching and teaching the truth! Thank you for being faithful for speaking the Word of the Lord in a time where you may be experiencing much persecution within the church!
